Hi there. I’m Chris.

I’m also a multidisciplinary designer and developer with years of experience solving creative problems on the web, desktop, and mobile platforms. I live in San Francisco, CA.

I’m currently looking for networking and new opportunities in San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Motivations

Creating

I’ve always been a creator. I love making useful and beautiful things, whether the thing is a process, a website, an app, a work of art, a photo, or a fun craft project. The process of creation is like nothing else — starting with an idea and a blank canvas, then watching it develop into something real and polished is exciting.

Learning & Experimenting

There’s always something new to learn, especially when it comes to design and web development — things change, new technologies are introduced, and tastes evolve. I enjoy digging in and figuring things out. Experimenting goes hand-in-hand with learning, as an active process. It’s one of the best ways to pull new knowledge and ideas together into something concrete in my mind, whether it ends up being practical or not. Time spent learning and experimenting is always time well spent.

Making a Difference

Effecting positive change keeps me going, whether it’s done through accomplishing goals (personal or business), making someone’s day easier, automating complex tasks, or modernizing outdated processes. Knowing that I have the skills and experience, and that I’m using them in practical ways that can improve some aspect of someone else’s life — it’s a powerful motivator that completes the circle and drives my creative process.
