A photo of a tree which has been textured, painted, and filtered beyond recognition.

This was done for a fun challenge over at Paint Outside the Frame. It’s cloned from a photo using oily brushes. The pencil outline was added after.

While sketching, changing colors can help you refine shapes on top of previous sketch marks and will let you decide whether you like the old or new marks better.

Find the vanishing point. I dare you… Color added much later.
